A week ago, I noticed the possibility of snow in the forecast, and I became giddy with excitement. Snow? At my house?? My friends from California will understand just how miraculous that is, as we have to drive several hours just to see snow during the winter. All week long I watched the forecast, and sure enough, I woke up early on Saturday morning, looked out my window, and saw flakes falling from the sky.
I have fallen in love with snow.
I love the feeling of snowflakes landing on my face.
I love how quiet everything becomes.
I love how all I want to do is gaze out the window for hours as I drink my earl gray tea under a cozy blanket.
